As Kipling said, “words are the most powerful drug used by mankind”
Part of my sales coaching is to improve the way my coachees use language.
The words we speak truly define who we are. However, since we are continually talking all the time, we often take it for granted.
Same with listening.
A true sales person crafts their words like an artist or a skilled tradesman and hears things other people miss.
Once they’ve been doing it for some time it just becomes natural, words just seem to flow without any apparent effort or delay but it is often not that way to begin with.
